A Meal to Remember
- Jesus gathers the disciples for one last meal with Him
- As Jesus starts the meal He uses the bread to show how His body was about to be broken for our sake
- Jesus takes the cup after the meal and shows two things through it
- First: By His blood our sins are forgiven
- Second: Through accepted the gift of salvation we are bound to Him as a bride is bound to her groom
- Jesus had offered the cup for us to be bound, and now He would go to pay the price for us to be His forevermore
